Let’s Walk In Hope
We share a dream, a desire rooted in the depths of our being. We are all sons and daughters of the same Father, children in the Son, and brothers and sisters among ourselves. When the world situation seems to negate this fact, we need to first believe and then to build: a true family rooted in reality and built day by day in a continuous effort to transform the shadows of this world into paths of light. Pope Francis puts his latest encyclical Fratelli Tutti into our hands and in our hearts, a shepherd’s perfect staff on this path of making the dream that dwells within us real: “Let us dream, then, as a single human family, as fellow travelers sharing the same flesh, as children of the same earth which is our common home, each of us bringing the richness of his or her beliefs and convictions, each of us with his or her own voice, brothers and sisters all.” (Fratelli Tutti 8) Let us enter deeply into it, let us be immersed in the life that is within; the Father embraces us, the Son tells us how and the Spirit impels us, let us walk!
