Daughters of Charity participate in the National Papal March

On April 2, 2023, on the 18th anniversary of the death of the Polish Pope, St. John Paul II, the Daughters of Charity of the Province of Warsaw, Poland, took part in the National Papal March. Marches passed through the streets of many Polish cities.

In Warsaw, countless people joined in the march. Many came by buses from all over the conutry to express their love and gratitude to the Pope for his life and the legacy he left to the universal Church and especially to his compatriots. The Daughters of Charity from Communities in Warsaw with the Postulant also participated; they still vividly remember the pilgrimages of St. John Paul II to Poland.

The Sisters also participated in the solemn Mass presided by Archbishop Józef Michalik at Warsaw Archcathedral, which followed after the march.

We thank God for this great Polish Pope, for all that he has done for Christ’s Church and for his homeland. We are grateful to God that he continues to unite the nation and the Church.
