The first mission of the Daughters of Charity was visiting those who were poor and sick in their homes. In their recommendations to the Sisters concerning their service to the sick, Saint Vincent and Sainte Louise advised the Sisters to be attentive to the many small details that could bring them comfort.
Restoring broken health is all about improving the quality of life, so according to different realities, our Sisters look for the best ways to address the physical and spiritual needs of the people who are sick. Using some of the most developed resources of current medicine, they strive to serve the sick with compassion, gentleness and great respect, the virtues so important for their Founders.
Because Health care is a primary need for every person it is a priority for us and we work in:

- Hospital chaplaincy
- Dispensaries
- Fighting leprosy
